There's so many design tools available in market for various fields. Figma is similar tool for UI/UX  prototyping. User Interface or User Experience is new term recently in trend in market.
Figma is beautifully designed itself. it's providing unique and simple access to users. anyone can design in figma without any heavy experience. 
Plus figma is webapp so without any installation you can use it and it's free. Teams also can work on it.

 3D design has been used vastly since decades. there are tons of tools available out there like autodesk's tools, maya, 3dmax, creo, etc. and so many on respect of fields like for architecture it's different tools. I recently found one online tool name vectary and it's very handy tool for quick models and prototypes. it's also web application like figma for creating 3D designs and mockups online. It's easy to use and we can convert our pngs or svgs into 3d design very quickly with less efforts.
